subject: Win Waters Ausralia Is A Perfect Choice For A Sort Break With The Family [print this page]

A small suburb in Queensland, Australia, Twin Waters has started to garner attention from tourists. Its location against Maroochy River Conservation Park encourages interest from naturalists and conservationists. A temperate climate boasting mild summers and winters also attracts residents and visitors. About half-way along the Sunshine Coast, this is a perfect location for exploring all this region has to offer.

An important aspect of Maroochy River conservation is the care of nesting bird species. Examples include the wedge-tailed shearwater. Watchful eyes could also spot gliding squirrels, wallabies, kangaroos, possum and echidna. Gaze in awe at these marvelous creatures, imprinting memories to last a life time.

The water draws lovers of aquatic sports to this area. Fishing and swimming are popular activities. Around these waters, surfers and divers also enjoy a relaxing place to practice their hobbies and spot vivid underwater life.

Maybe the village is small, but there are several points north, south and east to visit from here. Mudjimba Beach is just two-three kilometers north. Shopping malls wait to take your tourist money while coffee shops will help you rest tired feet in between sight-seeing and spending.

Twin Waters accommodation hopes to make guests feel welcome whether they belong to a party of two or a whole crowd of family with youngsters. Caravan parks offer economical ways to stay. Hotels and retreats add elegance and luxury to the holiday.

One from this last category, Twin Waters Resort, offers guests an array of exciting activities. Kids may wish to find out what it would take to become a circus performer at circus school. They spend enough time tumbling, might as well try to form a routine out of it. Teens could find themselves whizzing around on two-wheeled motorized segways. For parents (unless they like segways and circus acts), golf will release tension and motivate friendly competition. Two restaurants at the resort serve meals throughout the day. Guests who enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail or a coffee might want to stop in at the lounge or coffee shop respectively.

Coffee shops are prominent in this region where it seems clear: Queenslanders like their java. Restaurants within a couple of kilometers include at least two Italian offerings. Australian cuisine is also available.

Hop into your rental car and visit points of interest a couple of miles beyond Twin Waters. Mooloolah River Park provides more conservation space for precious wildlife and plants to grow in safety. Australia Zoo, made famous by Steve Irwin and his encounters with crocodiles, should appear within a quick drive of your hotel. Sunshine coast airport, a brief drive north of Twin Waters, will take visitors to other places throughout the country.

The Sunshine Coast offers ample opportunity to browse shops, wineries, take an adventure tour or just lay back with a picnic on the beach and catch some rays. Book a dolphin or whale watching tour to get a sense of why this region is so environmentally important. Take to three wheels with a trike tour, try scuba diving, fishing or bush walking. Head out for big city life so you can really appreciate the serenity of Twin Waters. A train ride will take guests to Brisbane, a journey which takes about an hour.
