Chez Ami Review

Patsy Aiken began designing and making exclusive children's apparel in 1979 in Colorado which is where her family was based when her husband was in the navy. She used to sell her clothes to upmarket boutiques and department stores. Two years later her husband Joel joined her and they launched the company Patsy Aiken Designs, with Joel looking after the finance side and Patsy overseeing product design and manufacturing. The company now offer a business opportunity to sell their products through the Chez Ami home party plan.

To join as a party plan consultant there is a seasonal fee of $50 and in return for that consultants receive a variety of sales support manuals, free samples of their products, free credit card processing, direct shipment to customers and 24 hour access to online services. As a consultant there are 5 main benefits to be enjoyed, namely cash commissions on sales, 40% discount on Chez Ami products, end of season sales with even higher discount, performance bonuses and merchandise credit for family and friends who host a party. There are 2 selling seasons a year and new consultants mush choose which season to apply for. In addition to receiving home party commissions, all year round earnings can be gained from commissions on orders placed by consultants' customers either direct with them, Chez Ami customer service or the online shopping system.

So can you make money with this product? Well, ultimately the answer is yes, but I do feel that the market is very niche orientated towards women who enjoy buying exclusive apparel for their children I don't see many men looking to host a party selling kids' clothes! On a more positive note, the company has been in business a long time and their products obviously sell, so for anyone who has access to a wide circle of friends, family or business acquaintances, then there is definitely the potential to generate a decent second income. The great thing is that there are all year round opportunities to make money as opposed to relying just on a party plan.
