For American and Canadian, a year will not ever be complete without the Thanksgiving Day or harvest festival! It is always commemorated with fun and joy! Traditionally, it is celebrated by people to thank nature for giving them what they have.

How can a celebration be called if without get-together in family and friends? And how can it be a celebration without food? It is expected that during Thanksgiving Day there are lot of good yummy recipes, from a traditional turkey, to a pie and other side dishes and sweets delicacies.

Most family prefers Turkey as one of the main dishes during Thanksgiving feast. Try to prepare this one! Golden Barbecued Turkey.

First you have to clean 10 pound of turkey then oil the turkey and place it on the hot barbecue. Continue oiling until all sides turn golden. Next is to make a paste of 3 tablespoons chicken soup powder. You need 2 teaspoon of onion powder, 2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of ginger powder,1 teaspoon of paprika, 2 teaspoon of lemon juice, salt, and water as ingredients.

In all sides of the turkey, apply the paste in it. Wrap it in with a foil. Marinate turkey to barbecue for 3 to 4 hours for the most juicy and golden Turkey. Try this turkey recipe and be amused how you will be appreciated for your gourmet skills!

The kids love Peanut Cheese Balls! Try also to do this one it's easy to prepare. You will only be needing 8 ounce of cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup peanut butter with chunks of peanut preferably, 2 Tablespoon dark brown sugar, Peanut morsels and chocolate flakes.

Blend cream cheese with sugar, brown sugar and the peanut butter. Put it in plastic wrap to refrigerate. You can actually prepare one large ball and cut later, or make many small wraps in the shape of a ball, and cool. Wait for about 2 hours until the cheese ball is set and firm. Take the peanut morsels and chocolate flakes in a flat dish or plate. Unpack the cool cheese balls and roll then in the peanut chocolate morsels. You may have to press the nuts and chocolate covered ball for firm sticking. Place these peanut chocolate covered cheese balls back into the fridge to cool before serving. Wrap it like a chocolate if you wish to surprise the kids, or you may serve it with a cracker stick.
