This Is How You Can Make Adsense Work For You

If you think that Adsense is a good moneymaker, you are right, it is, in fact lots of marketers make thousands of dollars per month online using it. This can make you excited, of course, and perhaps you see already dollar signs in your eyes. Hold on though; don't get your hopes so high yet.

You may have heard stories of many people bringing in five even six figures of revenue per month with Adsense. Although they are true, you better keep one thing in mind. For you to earn that kind of money with Adsense, you are going to need a lot of traffic to your web pages.

So much so, that you've got to realize that people, who make more than $100 per month with Adsense, usually have a very large website, with thousands of visitors per day, or they have hundreds, sometimes thousands of smaller websites floating around the internet.

Many people believe that it is not worth it just to create websites for promoting Adsense, because it only pays a few cents per click, relating to each keyword you target, and of course, there are exceptions as well, some keywords are very targeted and pay a lot more, but certainly much less than a few years ago.

It is true that a few years ago, some people were getting several dollars per click for many keywords, in very competitive markets, and is still happening today in very exceptional, extremely competitive sections of hot markets, although now $1 clicks are relatively rare in most niches. The norm now is getting $0.50 and a lot lower, about $0.1 or less in smaller niches.

Just think, if you want to make $10 per day, you would need 100 clicks at $0.10 per click. And if your click through ratio were 5%, you would need 2,000 visitors to your site every single day just to earn your $10 per day

Which means that if your site has little traffic, you would need a huge click through ratio in order to earn decent money with Adsense, or to choose highly competitive keywords that pay a lot, but are harder to rank high in the search engines.

There are sites which naturally have traffic that doesn't buy much as far as paid information, but the visitors like to click through links to access free information. Webmasters who have websites that target the freebie-seeking demographic, should test Adsense links to see which type performs best.

When you are running a site that has an extremely general audience, Adsense might also be a good alternative. Adsense is usually pretty good at delivering targeted ads. It is possible to create thousands of content pages with Adsense links, place the code in your blogs, and watch your monthly earning rise as you create more content for your audience.

Is your goal to make money without becoming a product owner?. In that case, consider creating a content only website that weaves affiliate links into the text and provides ample opportunities for clicks to Adsense links so that you can profit from the information you're giving to your visitors.
