When having an online affair it is important to familliarize yourself with the information collected by your webbrowser as your browse the web. As you visit websites your browser records certain information about your activities. Every web site you visit, the time you visited that site, any cookies that site may have installed, and even entire copies of pictures and videos you've viewed may all be stored by your browser. This information is known as web history and now that we know it's there, let's talk about how you delete it.

The first and very best option for deleting your browsing history is never creating the history in the first place. This is made possible by your browsers private browsing feature. Internet Explorer, Mozzilla Firefox, Google Chrome and all major browsers will let you surf the web privately. In Internet explorer the privacy windows can be opened by clicking on Safety and then clicking on InPrivate browsing. This will open a new and private window of your webbrowser.

When browsing privately no information is stored about your activities. There will be no sign of the sites you've visted, the pictures you've looked at, or cookies from affair websites. While this is great feature for hiding your online activities from your husband or wife, this will not disguise your activities from your employer. It's best to stear away from visiting sites related to your affair while at the office.

Another option for deleting the cyber evidence created by surfing the web is with a free software utility such as CCleaner. Software like CCleaner will give you the options of deleting certain asepcts or the entirety of your history from all browser.

You can also manually clear your history. You can clear the history in it's entirety but this may rouse suspicions in your spouse. A better option is to manually delete the individual aspects of your history that you want to conceal from your husband of wife. To delete certain websites you can pull up your history file by pressing CNTRL+H. Then browse to the website you want to delete, right click on the site and press delete. You will then want to want to click on Tools, and then Internet Options were you can delete any cache or cookie files that may have been stored.

When conducting an online affair it is of crucial important that you are familliar with the evidence created by your internet activites and that you can then delete this evidence. Take the time ot learn about web history and how to get rid of it before conducting an internet affair. You may think that your spouse is not technologically savvy enough to check your history but rest assured that a determined, suspicious spouse will have no problem seeing what you've been doing online.
