subject: Letting My Baby Go [print this page]

The time has come for me to say goodbye to my baby and Im finding it very difficult to let go. My car and me have been together for 7 years, together we have had many great memories which I want to remember forever and some memories that I would like to forget.

I still remember the day I went to buy my car from the car dealer, it was displayed on the front row of the showroom and as soon as I entered it caught my eye, it was at that moment that I decided I wanted that car.

The salesman was very nice and helpful, gave all the information I needed which was good because last few dealerships I visited werent very helpful. The car came with 6 months road tax and one years MOT, it also had full service history and was in excellent condition and that made me want it even more.

After I had my baby, my husband drove us home from the hospital in that car and a year before that, that same car broke down on us on New Years Eve as we were on our way to see the fireworks display. We missed the firework display as we were stuck waiting for recovery to come.

Now 7 years later I am being forced to sell my car by my 4 year son, who said to me the other day, mum why dont I drove a nice car like my friends mum. At that point I decided that I need to sell my car so I went home and put my used Vauxhall Vectra in Birmingham for sale at a good price.
