You can always see this sign most likely on a swimming pool or even on the streets. This is to remind us that life is important especially for the children who have not fully experienced the happiness of being alive yet.

Studies showed that in the United States, nearly 300 children die in pools and spas which appears to be the most leading cause of accidental death. The number of injured appears to be 3000 children every year and 54% of this accidents happen at home. Reading this information surely is very alarming for us.

That is why, to lessen this values, we should start the safety precautions in our own home. Here are some pool safety tips to protect our kids from the harm that swimming pools may cause to them:

*Keep an eye on your children- This task doesn't require any advance devices, the only thing that you should do is to be responsible in looking at them. Because you might not notice them drowning in the pool if you don't look at what they are doing.

*Establishing Pool Fences- After you use your swimming pools, be sure that you have placed safety fences around to prevent the children from crossing there. This is also a great strategy if you cant look at your children due to your other tasks. Just be sure that the children wont be to cross there.

*Pool Alarms- You can also place an alarm so that you can hear aloud whenever there is an accident, unauthorized access to the water is detected, or in case of a pool leak.

*Cover your pool when not in use- Since winter season is coming, you should be covering your pools now to protect it. On the other hand, it would also protect your children from drowning on the pool if fences are not available.

Safety of our children greatly depends on their parents. So be sure to follow these advice to lessen the accidents happening in our very home.
