As kids, they still cannot distinguish what is right from wrong and such style of parenting doesnt teach them the difference between the two. Kids growing in this type of parenting may behave improperly and would be harsh if they will not have what they want. When these kids turn young adults, they are at high risks of getting involved in vices and other anti-social doings.
Permissive parenting is not totally negative. It can work and fits well for those kids who are introvert and shy for this will give them space to grow and develop their confidence in terms of decision making. However, such parenting style should never be used with kids who are head-strong for this may cause them to become spoiled brats.
