Why Do Pvas Get Deactivated On Craigslist?

Why do PVAs get deactivated on Craigslist? Phone verified accounts commonly are deactivated on Craigslist for one very simple reason. You will probably verify your account only to wake up the next morning ready to post an ad and discover that your account is still working but is no longer phone verified. You need to repeat the process all over again. What causes this deactivation of phone verified accounts?

Craigslist verified accounts are deactivated because they were not used immediately. By this I mean you need to post an ad in the services section within a few hours of verifying the account. If you don't do this you will discover that the next day you are greeted with the dreaded phone verification screen once again. To lock or keep your PVA verified, once you enter the confirmation code you received by telephone post an ad in the services section straight away. No other section on Craigslist will lock the account in verified mode. It must be the services and you must do it within 8 - 10 hours of making the verified account.

This time limit or timeframe on requiring you to post an ad in the services section with a PVA to lock it as verified hasn't always been in place at Craigslist. It was only introduced a few months ago to try and stop people mass verifying accounts and not using them immediately.

If you have just verified your own Craigslist account make sure you post an ad in the services section immediately. Doing this is the only solution or fix to anyone wondering why do PVAs get deactivated on Craigslist.
