subject: Parents' Survival Guide To Disney World [print this page]

Many would agree that Disney World is one of the most magical places on earth. You will only know for yourself once you are able to get to the park and experience it for yourself. But even if taking a vacation to this place would prove to be wonderful and exciting, it also comes with little stresses on the side especially if you are with the children. To survive the trip and have lots of fun along the way, here are some practical tips that you should follow.

Take regular breaks

Disney World is massive. There is no way you can see the whole 127,000 acres of theme park in a few days. You need at least a week or two to see most of what the entire Disney World has to offer. This is why, it is very important that you are able to take regular breaks in between. Even though you want to see the rides and attractions of Disney World, you have to get occasional rests so that you can recharge and rejuvenate. If you rush yourself into seeing everything, you will easily get drained and it will become more difficult for you and the kids to enjoy the trip. Make sure that you a few-minute take a break every hour to recharge. Drink plenty of water to keep you and the kids hydrated.

Pack your snacks and drinks

Speaking of water, you have to pack ample amount of drinks so that you don't have to look for a drinking station whenever one of the kids get hungry. It is the same thing for the snacks. Bringing your own snacks will not only save you time because you won't have to look for snack bars anymore but would also save you a great deal of money. As you probably know, food and drinks cost a lot inside the park. Your pockets will be relieved if you bring your own.

Bring strollers

If you have young kids with you, it would be best to bring an umbrella stroller. An umbrella stroller is advantageous because it can be folded to a compact size and it is also very light in weight. Not only that, bringing your own umbrella stroller will also save you money because renting at the park can be expensive. This device will enable you to move around the park with much ease. Your kids won't get as tired as they would if they walk around. You also don't want to carry them everytime they whine that they are already tired because that would exhaust you so much as well. This means that the stroller will not only be beneficial for the kids but for you as well.

Look for a kid friendly Orlando hotel

To complete the fun-filled Orlando vacation, look for a kid-friendly Orlando hotel that would allow your kids to sleep comfortably. If you want to stay inside the park, look for a Disney hotel that fits your budget. If not, go for Orlando hotels or Kissimmee hotels that will give you and the kids a wonderful time.
