Job Description

The Role: Reporting to the VP of Minerals Services, you will be accountable for all aspects of the continued development of the water treatment business. Responsible for the technical competences, project coordination and scheduling of the water treatment projects, client relationships and implementation of client requirements for successful project completion. Environmental research including: management, supervising, recruiting, training, procedure development and marketing. Solid understanding of design and engineering of water treatment facilities ( equipment, piping, pumps and mixers). Co-ordinate and oversee equipment set up for laboratory and/or pilot projects. Understanding of client's needs and objectives for a successful project alongside creating methods and procedures to complete assigned work schedules and coordinate work activities. Project planning including Hazard and Operability Studies (Hazops), technical protocols, sample planning and technical communication with clients and internal team.. Implement Project Management methodology's for planning and controlling project delivery and execution.

Prepare technical reports and proposals, monitor project budgets and preparing project billing information for invoicing. Train and monitor staff, set goals & objectives, performance reviews, assessing training needs, safety procedures and company policy. Accountable for health, safety and environment of all staff and enforcing all regulations, reporting any incidents or accidents, reviewing all equipment for Health & Safety standards. Skill Required University degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering A Minimum of 5 + years experience in a mineral related field with direct experience in water treatment. Previous experience in water treatment flowsheet development, bench scale and pilot plant engineering project, consulting function with P&L ( financial and budgeting) responsibilities. Strong leadership in supervising technical team and interacting will all levels of management internally, supplier and clients. Manage technical staff and coordinate multiple project activities in a fast paced professional environment Implementation Project Management methodology's and possess strong leadership in supervising technical team -ideally in a laboratory setting. Strong communication and computer/software skills Spanish or any addition language would be a plus
