Time management for single parents to accomplish tasks without feeling burdened

Bringing up a baby is as tough as giving birth. It can be stressful especially for a single parent. Parents can look on baby sites for guidance on how to raise and take care of their baby. Time management is the key to proper parenting; sort out task according to there priority. Make a chart of daily activity and sort them according to the time they are to be done. Things that to be done in the morning, making breakfast, packing lunch, getting your kids ready for school, dropping them at school on your way to office. You can arrange for car pool with other parents, this will save you both time and energy.

Jot down the daily work according to it's priority. Make a chart of the daily schedule. In this way, you will keep track of the work that needs completion immediately, suppose you have to attend parent teacher's meeting since you have kept a note of it you will not miss it in your busy schedule. In the way you will do time allotment for all your activities. Keep a note pad handy or your can jot down in mobile too when any task pops out.

Divide your workload. In the way you will feel less pressurized and stressed out. Like when you have to do spring cleaning instead of the entire house at a time you can do it in sections like two rooms at a time or the one room and kitchen next turn the bathrooms and the rest of the room and the living room in another day.

Choose one consistent day of the week to complete tasks that can be done with one go. Like, if you do you grocery shopping in a particular day of the week and you do not have to worry for the rest of the week doing that chore. Likewise, you can choose a particular day like weekends or Sundays for family day. You can select for activities from childcare resources that you can do together.

You can also involve your children to do simple tastes like washing their own dish and making their own breakfast you will not only get helped but you are teaching your child to grow up as responsible people. Chilling out is also an important part of time management. Sneak out some time for yourself as reward of the hard work you do.
