I wanted my baby to be as healthy as possible, but I also wanted to keep off all the unwanted extra weight. My other goal was to be able to go back to my pre-pregnancy body as quickly as possible after the birth.

Im sure you would love to learn how easy it can be to keep your little one healthy and only gain 26 to 29 pounds during your pregnancy. First, find out what foods you can have that are good for you and taste awesome. 2nd, stay away from the crappy and unhealthy foods. It really is as simple as that So, lets start with talking about the foods you should keep far away from you and your baby!

Keeping the nasty foods out of sight is very important. The wrong foods can alter your babys natural growth while in the womb. These bad foods can cause havoc to your babys developmental stages. These foods can also make you gain an abundance of unhealthy weight that can cause other problems like gestational diabetes.

I am sure that you already know that little Debbie cakes and potato chips are unhealthy, but do you know about the foods that are labeled as health products? Yep, they are also bad for you and your baby. Why? Well I can assure you that its not the carbs or the calories thats making you unhealthy. Its not the saturated fats and sugars! Its the preservatives and chemicals that are harming you and your baby.

Read the ingredients list on all of your pre-packaged foods and you will see what I am talking about. Research has proved that these chemicals really play havoc on our bodies. You want to learn what foods you can eat to have a healthy pregnancy?

Make sure that you eat foods with only 1 ingredient. I know it sounds limiting, but trust me its not. Foods like: chicken, steak, vegetables and fruits, eggs, rice, butter, bacon, coconut oil, avocados, and sweet potatoes. Do not cut down your calories, and dont eliminate carbs. You will do more harm than good.
