Help Children Build The Future They Deserve

Children are the first victims of the grave social injustice and economic disparity in the world today. They suffer silently; many have to strive to survive daily and fend for themselves when they should be enjoying their childhood playing with toys and games.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) records an appalling worldwide condition today where 25,000 million young boys and girls die every day due to poverty. With no fault of their own, they suffer poverty and hunger and are exposed to danger of infectious diseases. About 134 million who are between the ages of 7 and 18 have never attended schools and have not been given the chance to rise from their social situations.

Today, thousands of charity and non-profit organizations have toiled round the clock to help children who cannot fend for themselves and to provide them a chance of a better future.

Economic Poverty

Sadly, money is the key factor behind the misery and suffering of millions of people today. In many parts of the world, child labor is a huge social problem with long lasting consequences. Heart-wrenching scenarios where school-age kids work in harsh and sometimes hazardous environments to put meals on the table are true realities in many parts of the world due to wide economic disparity. Therefore, channeling funds to feed poor hungry families so that their kids can have the freedom to go to school and live through their childhood experiences is one of the primary ways to help children in the world today.

Social Poverty

Healthcare and education are the most essential needs in a child's developmental stage. From getting immunity against life-threatening diseases to obtaining basic education to enable literacy development, children will have no future if they are deprived of these fundamental provisions. Despite the urgency, millions of them still do not have access to basic healthcare and education privileges, which should be the fundamental rights of every child.

Spiritual Poverty

A great need in the world today is spiritual guidance to help children build emotional strength, moral integrity and self respect that enable them to weather the storms in life. Without proper guidance, a child may not know how to distinguish between right and wrong; he or she may not be able to overcome psychological and emotional scars incurred during childhood. Spiritual poverty may be the reason behind social issues such as teenage pregnancy, prostitution, addiction to drugs and juvenile delinquency that are so prevalent in society today.

In order to help children build futures they deserve, they have to be assisted in every way so that they are provided with the economic, social and spiritual means they need to pursue a better future for themselves and their children.
