Riding The Bruce Highway From Brisbane To Sunshine Coast

If you want a holiday visit to a region where the weather is fine year round then try the Sunshine Coast in Australia. There are so many things to do and see here it's doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out why tourists flock to this area.

You will need to spend a week or more to really get the full Aussie experience, but once you have booked your flight, you will find the accommodations are so reasonable that staying a few extra days will be an inexpensive addition and will make for a better overall experience.

After arriving at the Brisbane Airport, you and your car will cruise down the beautiful Bruce Highway out to the coast, won't take more than two hours. This drive is very special with many mountain vistas and gorgeous pine forests, so you want to do this during the daylight hours. If you get to see a sunrise or sunset on the Bruce Highway you will be thrilled at this sight.

Traveling the Bruce Highway will allow you to visit some of the attractions if you're traveling during normal business hours. Steve Irwin's Zoo is always a popular place to visit, and also the Big Pineapple which is a lot of fun. A little longer into the trip are the Super Bee and the Deer Sanctuary.

No matter which attractions you choose to see along the Bruce Highway you will be astounded at the uniqueness of this region of the world. A real treat of this region is Underwater World, an incredible display of some 25,000 underwater creatures and a pure delight to both the young and old. A favorite attraction of the region, Underwater World is a favorite with tourists and locals alike. A ride down the Bruce Highway can make for great fun, a beautifully scenic route with a lot of incredible stops along the way.
