Anne is a pretty girl who is now 18 years old. Like all girls of her age, she likes pop music and the famous pop star Jackie is her favorite singer; she likes fashion and pays much attention to her appearance and clothing; she has a lot of friends and enjoys talking all these things with them. On October 10th, Anne celebrated her 18th birthday. All the family members got together to congratulate her for her eventually becoming an adult. She had been looking forward to it for months because she knew that she would receive many presents. She was right. That day, Anne's parents sent her a purse of a well-known brand, hoping that Anne would learn to manage her money by herself. The grandparents gave her a precious necklace and the uncles and aunts all sent her present, most of which she likes very much. Then it was Aunt Jane's turn. Anne had been anticipating for it since Aunt Jane had just returned home from Australia and brought the present from that beautiful country. Anne opened the box with excitement, but she was frustrated on seeing what was in the box. It was a pair of green boots whit cartoon images on them. Anne thought they were heavy and a little childish. Maybe they were cute, but she prefer maturity rather than cute. Politely, Anne thanked Aunt Jane, without expressing her disappointment.

Anne put away the boots under her bed, without wearing them for even once. She gradually forgot them until 3 months later when she saw her favorite pop singer Jackie on the screen. Jackie was wearing a pair of purple boots which reminded Anne the pair Aunt Jane sent her. "Anne, Anne!" her friends, who were watching TV together with Anne, called her when she lost herself in the thought of the boots. "Look at Jackie's boots! They are great, don't they? Do you know UUG? It is the world famous fashion brand." Anne had heard this brand before, but she had never had a look of the products of UGG. She was confused. That night, Anne took out her boots to have a look. They were absolutely UGG. She still thought they were a little cute, but since Jackie also wore them, she decided to have a try. She put them on the next day. To her surprise, they were absolutely comfortable, warm, and light instead of heavy. They were lovely and they can also make her looks fashionable. She was a little regretted not having tried them on earlier. Now, with the envy from her friends, Anne more and more like the boots, like UGG.
