In addition to all these tourist attractions and places of historical interest, London is world famous for its arts, music and entertainment and is especially well known for its theatre performances. In the West End of the city is home to an area known as Theatre Land. Theatre Land is home to many of the world's most famous musicals, shows and opera. There is such a huge variety of choice meaning there is literally something for everyone. Every theatre has show's on every night with world famous productions such as Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Cats etc however to get a bargain many of the theatres have a hugely discounted matinee shows to meet every budget.
