Nine new stadiums will be built to host the games which will take place in searing July temperatures sure to challenge even the fittest of footballers.
And then there's the smaller emirates. Ras al Khaimah features hot springs at Khatt, the sensational new Ice Land water theme park and the glorious Banyan Tree Al Wadi luxury hotel. Many of the other emirates like Ajman, Fujairah and Al Ain can be visited too in close proximity of the larger emirates and feature a cultural appeal of unique quality.
