Why Not Buy a Water Cooler as a Holiday Gift?

Do you know someone who would enjoy a bottled water cooler? Why not buy one for a gift for Christmas, birthday, weddings, anniversaries, house warming gifts, or just because? Don't buy one as a Valentine's Day gift (unless it's bright red and filled with chocolate!) but there are some great times of year or milestones when a water cooler could make an excellent gift.

Health

We should all drink more H20, shouldn't we? Are you getting enough? A lot of people don't drink much water because they don't love the way it tastes from their tap. Having a cooler can make it much easier and more enjoyable for you. The very presence of the cooler in the house could be enough to help you change your habits.

Convenience

Water coolers aren't just good from a health perspective but they're good from a convenience perspective as well. Most models chill your water for you so that it's great for drinking. You can also buy cooler models that have hot water that's hot enough for tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, and instant soup.

You'll find machines that are small and convenient and you'll find options with built in fridges in the bottom or that are small enough to fit on the corner of your desk or a counter top. And, there are great designs in multiple colours that could make this a gift that looks sleek in someone's new kitchen.

Water Cooler Gift Ideas

Here are some people you may want to consider giving the gift of clean, fresh-tasting, and convenient water to:

Your Parents. Do they drink enough water? Do they need a new cooler that's easier to use, such as one that's plumbed in (needing no bottles) or one that is fed from the bottom for easier loading?

Someone who's getting their first flat or first house.

A student going off to school might benefit from a small cooler for their dorm room. You can find very small models that take up a minimal amount of space.

A wedding gift. If the couple is into sleek and modern looks, you might opt for a black or stainless steel unit. You can never go wrong with classic white, though.

If buying a bottled water cooler for a gift, you might also tell the recipient where you got it, so that they can arrange for delivery. Or, you might even opt to include the gift of delivery for a set amount of time --- which would be extra nice for the recipient.
