Adding a dresser or a vanity would be a great additional art deco accent for the room, but if that is a little too much art deco for your teens taste, you could easily mix contemporary style furniture in as well.

Since art deco is an opulent style, it embraced glitzy glamour. Look for finishing touches for the room that sparkle like bedroom lamps with crystal fringe, or a sleek, shiny silver lamp. Geometric shapes are also part of the art deco aesthetic, so incorporating simple shapes into the decor will support the art deco style. As you are choosing wall colors look for light gray or mocha with just a touch of warm green.
