Why "Merry "Christmas?

In English speaking countries, since the coming of Christmas, the popular festive greetings have been the Christmas cards that we send to our beloved ones carry along these greetings of good wishes and joy.

Why do we say "Merry" Christmas? What is the correlation between Mary and merry? Spelling wise, "merry" and Mary are not the same; but the pronunciation is the same. Take these other examples:
Why "Merry"Christmas?

Marry, murrey, miry, marrow, mere, mare, myrrh and many more.

All these words are related to Mary. The words have been formed from circumstantial association with the Virgin Mary. What the ancients knew about her compelled them to form those words. Words are not born out of nothing but by certain observations and associations. If the word maker called the sea: Latin: mare; Fr: mer; Eng: mere; it is because Mary was colored like the sea. The original, historical Mary was dark-coloured, coloured like the sea, the cloud.

If the word maker coined the word "Merry" in connection with Christmas, it is because he understood the true meaning of Christmas and the personality involved. He wanted to play on the two terms "Merry" and "Mary". The original Mary was a very happy person, always full of smiles and cheer. I have said in an earlier article that her true name is Rahma, the most widely known name of God in ancient times. All scriptures have something to say about this God although the names may have been altered.

Once again, I refer the reader to (the New World translation of the Holy Scriptures, Appendix pg 1449, EDITION 1968) the name "mar'ya" is there as a substitute for Jehovah. Just check it up and see. When this name is properly read from right to left, the name is Ram, contracted form of Rahma. You remember biblical Abram? The God Ram or Rahma was the God who was known to appear in human form to visit mankind; to rescue the world from danger. He came to Egypt about 7000yrs ago using a prophet (Hos 12:13). This prophet provided him with a dwelling place and a vehicle for his operations.

He was the God who ushered in the golden age, the golden jubilee which is explained as Ram or Ram's horn. Further analysis of jubilee leads to the formation of the word YULETIDE which is another expression for Christmas.

The ancient Romans called him Saturn and celebrated a feast very close to Christmas called SATURNALIA, the predecessor of Christmas. The dictionary makers define Saturnian as: (chamber's 20th century dictionary). Ancient Indian scriptures named the golden age "SATYA YUGA"- the root of the word "SATURN".

The golden age God was dark-coloured, coloured like lead, the metal of planet Saturn. His symbol was L OR 7 known as libra, the balance: two things are involved. The Roman letter L =50 (number of golden age).

He was known to be always happy, full of joy. Who is the God described as? (Bible 1 Timothy 6:15) which God is called pleasure or pleasant? (Mat 11:26; Ephesians 19; Psalms 135:3) when the God later became known as Jupiter or Jove, he occasioned the word "jovial". The Quran says his names are beautiful (Quran 17:110) and states the name as Rahma in Arabic form.

The merry God is the God Rahma also known as Mary or Maria. (Bhagavad Gita xxx111; Gita 13:5). The word "merry" in another sense refers to a black cherry. The merry God is dark as stated earlier. The black God derived his human form from the black female, the mother. The month of May is affectionately called the merry month. It is a spring month, time of life, of youthfulness. These are the characteristics of the divine mother after whom the month is named. She was ALMA, MA, MAIA. One's former educational institution is called ALMA MATER- the Fostering mother or the bounteous mother. The dictionaries further define May as Virgin or maiden.
Why "Merry"Christmas?

The Biblical church Mary, although not much is known about her is said to have sang a song of joy with words full of meaning. She was that mere mortal who was immortalized, deified. Her mortal body was restored to a state beyond compare. The older she grew, the greener she became; ever fresh, evergreen. Do you know why the meridian is so called reckoned from Greenwich in U.K?

Mary could not help but praise God for raising her so high. She sang these words: < My soul praises the lord and my spirit rejoices in God my savior----- (Luke 1:46-50)

Happy woman she wasFreed from sin, from the deceitfulness and temporariness of the glitter of this world. She found the pearl of great price.

At Christmas time when you wish a beloved one merry Christmas remember Mary, the center piece of the celebration. NO MARY, NO CHRISTMAS!
