Cape Town Tours

Cape Town is a stunning city. The central business district is framed by the majestic Table Mountain. There are several assorted places of interest and the people are pleasant and lively.

The beaches nearby the city are first-rate. There is a stretch of beachfront, called the platinum mile, from Camps Bay to Clifton's four beaches which draws the affluent and celebrities like a magnet. The splendor of Table Mountain is the perfect backdrop to the idyllic scene.

Further down the coastline are suburbs like Simonstown and Muizenberg. These hamlets are popular in their own right and attract thousands of tourists every year. Beyond Simonstown is the Cape Point Nature Reserve which is the point at which the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. The nature reserve is home to many native animals and plants.

For those visitors who prefer it, there are fabulous wine farms along the Winelands route to call upon near Franschoek and Stellenbosch. The French Hugenots inhabited this region when they fled Europe and they brought with them the understanding of wine making and through their offspring passed on the perfection of the wine making process. Currently these wines compete on the international market and receive glowing tributes and awards for their excellent quality.

Guests may go on a township tour if they want to have an even closer understanding of the heartbeat of the city. These excursions depict the vast and different traditions that exist in South Africa at present. Tour guides take visitors into the townships where they are exposed to the vibrant culture there.

At the end of the day many inhabitants can be found taking pleasure in the quiet and serenity of the setting sun. Cape Town presents guests with remarkably extravagant sunsets that leaves one in wonder of the beauty that exists here. A full picnic basket with good companionship is the perfect way to round off the day.

Cape Town is undeniably one of the most treasured resources in the African continent's casket of possessions.
