Holiday Deals to Europe's Best Theme Parks

Most breaks in Europe tend to be taken by holidaymakers looking to experience some of the continents rich history or to go clubbing on a city break.Holiday deals may also revolve around skiing breaks or warm island breaks in the winter months. To make the most of a trip in a European city holidaymakers can visit one of the continent's many exciting theme parks. EuroDisney as it was initially named was imported straight from the US giving holidaymakers the opportunity to have the authentic US theme park experience.

One of the most popular theme parks in Europe is Port Aventura in Spain. The theme park is packed full of excellent rides, though the names of its different areas are a little unimaginative, simply being named after different countries. That should be no deterrent though as it makes the park nice and easy to remember. Holidaymakers will enjoy the stomach churning Hurakan Condor drop tower in Mexico and can then take a short journey to China to ride the colossal Dragon Khan. The rollercoaster can be seen from anywhere in the park and features 8 head spinning loops. When holidaymakers want to cool down they can head into Port Aventura's waterpark.

A trip to Germany can also be a very exciting experience for holidaymakers wanting to spend a day away from the usual tourist attractions in the big cities. Heide Park sits at the centre of a triangle of German cities; Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover. Owned by Merlin the park is great for Brits who hold an annual pass for the group's UK theme parks as they can go to Heide Park for free and enjoy various live shows before riding Limit, the parks exciting inverted rollercoaster. One of the most popular attractions is Colossos, Europes largest wooden rollercoaster and the world's second largest, with a hair raising drop of 50 metres.
