Our life is a sum of many individual spheres. Our daily life usually consists of dealings in only some of these spheres. While we spend most of our time only in these fields in large proportions, the other fields that too form a part of our life remain hidden in the darkness of inattention. However, as a fact, these fields are, and have always been, the parts of the very life of ours without which even our identity ceases to exist. These fields, being the parts of life, have the ability to influence the central individual just like the most attended ones. And when problems start invading our awareness from these uncharted lands of life we find ourselves stranded, and with no instant way to get out of these predicaments. It becomes difficult to get rid of these vicious complications since they have never been dealt with before. At times, hopeless about coming up with solutions ourselves, we resort to certain groups of people who, much as, may provide a solution but surely fail to guarantee that problems alike will never arise in future, problems that would have never arisen had there been the presence of attention.
Yes. It's all about just attention. A careful look at life brings out regions we live mostly oblivious of. We establish regions of our life which, though very close to us, have not been visited often to be detailed. And as we survey these regions we establish a number of weak points in our life, vulnerable to attacks by afflictions and discontent. We discover links to many potential problems; we find a number of flaws in the foundations of our thoughts, beliefs and conceptions that can further prove troublesome. We detect the absence of certain things necessary to fight off harm and nullify hindrances; we detect the presence of things that can underhandedly cause us harm. And then, on looking how life appears coupled with these troublemakers we concoct the image of a life that has very little security.
Since the problem is caused because of deficit of attention, the solution to it lies in providing attention. The solution lies in undertaking a voyage to unveil these concealed regions of life. The solution lies in sharing a part of our attention with these data deficient fields. Overhauling these regions and maintaining a constant level of awareness about their status is what is required. With this, the problems that can possibly arise in future solely because of our carelessness can be kept distance from. By simply diverting some of his attention to these obscure regions of life one can fix, quarantine and eliminate the potential threats that lie scattered in them, or make arrangements so as to permanently immune himself from the ones that cannot be escaped. The entire process is comparable to that of the medical process of immunization against diseases in which an encounter with passive micro-organisms ensures exemption from the deadly disorders caused by the active ones in future.
Acquiring awareness about all of one's life constitutes a great part of a SPIRITUAL JOURNEY. As one turns conscious about the various aspects of himself and his life one paves the way to super-consciousness.
