Used Subaru Forester West Palm Beach Dealer Says Make Receives Top Pick Award For Small Suvs

Small and SUV are two words you dont often find next to each other in a sentence. SUVs are really all about utility the perfect drives for big families or drivers that just happen to need a lot of cargo space. But with the shifting automotive market, manufacturers must learn to compromise. The consumer driving public has definitely made a play towards smaller cars, and, while SUVs havent been phased out as of yet, they certainly have received a much smaller fanfare than in past years. But this generalization seems slightly skewed if you asked your West Palm used Subaru Forester dealership, where small SUVs are one of the top sellers on their list.

And West Palm used cars dealers arent the only ones noticing the success of the Subaru Forester, a small SUV with a lot of clout in the industry. In fact, the Subaru Forester was recently named a Consumer Reports Top Pick in the small SUV category. West Palm used Subaru Forester dealers saw a huge surge in sales immediately following the announcement, which positioned the Forester as one of the best utility items on the market. But the competition was stiff, and the rankings were based on some serious evaluations in three main categories. Still, the Forester emerged victorious, and West Palm used cars dealers were free to gloat.

In regards to the Forester, Consumer Reports only had good things to say. The Forester provides one of the most carlike driving experiences of any SUV. It combines agile handling with the most comfortable ride in its class. Passengers are treated to a spacious cabin, with a roomy rear seat and excellent visibility. The 2.5X provides an impressive 22 mpg overall with an automatic, 24 mpg with a manual. And the turbocharged 2.5XT delivers effortless acceleration and 20 mpg, but it takes premium fuel. The 2.5X has had excellent reliability, while the 2.5XT 's is average. Price: $20,972 to $28,860.

In order to take one of the spots on the Top Picks list, vehicles had to score some serious marks in three main categories categories that West Palm used Subaru Forester say the Forester handled with no trouble. The first category was the road test, which pitted each vehicle against the other in a series of 50 different tests and evaluations. The second, perhaps more consumer-oriented category, was the reliability test. The rankings for this one were reliant on reports from consumers who owned the vehicles. West Palm used cars owners that have the Forester weighed in on this one. And finally, cars had to test well in terms of safety features. The data used for the safety evaluation was a combination of info collected based on independent testing by insurance and government groups.

The moral of the story? If youre looking for a happy middle ground between the SUV and the car (and you think the crossover trend is as ugly as I do), head on down and check out a Subaru Forester. Like Consumer Reports says, there really isnt a better small SUV purchase on the market.
