Wedding Gift Wraps That Are Unusual

wedding gift wraps are traditionally paper that is silver, gold, white or another color with one of those colors in it. While these are all beautiful paper and look very nice on a table with other gifts that are also wrapped nicely, there are other things that a gift can be wrapped in that would make it unique.

Since this is a wedding, the bride and groom will probably need just about everything for their new home. So maybe you will be buying them a set of pans for the kitchen. For something different, purchase some dishtowels to go with the pans and wrap the pans in the towels. The dishtowels work for wrapping any kitchen item that you may be purchasing.

If you are purchasing sheets for their new bedroom, the ideal thing to wrap those in is the matching pillowcase. Maybe you are getting them a throw pillow for their bedroom; it could be enclosed in a set of sheets. A lamp for their room could be enclosed in a set of curtains.

And moving onto the bathroom, think about the towels. While any item you purchase can be wrapped in a towel, what do you do if you are buying towels? Make them into a cake. Roll the towels lengthwise and then roll them into a cake. They will not have to be wrapped, as they will be presented as the cake.

Think about using an odd shaped box for your gift to the couple. A hatbox would be another option for using boxes, as they are so popular these days. Numerous gifts can fit into odd shaped boxes, making people wonder what is inside.

Another item not seen too often any more is the newspaper wrap or the wrap of the colored funny papers. Any fabric that you can think of can be used for wrapping a present. It is all in what you want to present. Your personality type shows through when you step out of the box to use distinctive items to wrap a gift in.

Are you a traditionalist? Then get that gold, silver or white paper and the bow to match to wrap your gift in. But if you would like your gift to stand out from the crowd, come up with an innovative idea for wrapping your gift for the newlyweds.
