subject: Goa Holidays With Or Without Other Destinations. [print this page]

Goa is one of the most popular beach destinations in Asia. Tourists from all over the world flock here just to soak in all the sun that they can get. If you are visiting India and have decided to holiday only in Goa, you will need all exclusive Goa holiday packages. If you intend on visiting other places as well, you might want to check out more options.

North India and Goa

Goa holidays go well with almost any kind of tourists package in India as it is generally the last leg of the tour. If you are interested in what North India has to offer you could consider a package that has the Golden Triangle and Goa. This way you will get to explore and visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Goa and Mumbai. This would typically be an 11 day tour beginning in Delhi and ending with Goa before you fly out via Mumbai.

The Deccan Plateau and Goa

Similarly to the tour of the north, the south too offers Goa holiday packages that include other destinations. An extensive tour of the Deccan will take you through the land of the Hoysala kings and their creations. Over 12 days you will visit Mysore, Badami, Hassan, Hospet etc. This tour starts at Bangalore and ends with a three day leisurely holiday in Goa. Your flight back home will be via Mumbai for this option as well.

The shorter trip

If you would like to begin your holiday with the beach, there are Goa holidays that can offer you this option as well. This tour begins at Mumbai and then takes you to Goa. After your holiday in Goa, you proceed south to Bangalore and from there on to Mysore and Ooty. This short trip will give you a glimpse at the cities of Bangalore and Mysore along with an experience of the beautiful resort hill town of Ooty. Ooty still has remnants of her British past. From Ooty you are then taken to Coimbatore for your flight back to Mumbai and then back home.
