Nothing can be more heart-breaking for a woman than being not able to get pregnant. Most women go through life just taking it for granted that one day they will decide to get pregnant and it will happen easily. But, for some women it is not that easy and they struggle to conceive a child. You can get through these feelings of disappointment by following these suggestions.

-First, acknowledge what you feel. Of course, you are experiencing a hard time and are free to your feelings, no matter what they are. Feeling depressed, irritated or worried is reasonable and is part of the process of healing. Trying to control what you feel might just make you feel unhappy and make everything worse.

-Think about other alternatives. Medical progresses in the field of infertility remain to be developed each day. Know the kind of medical treatments, if there is, that you might be willing to endure. If conceiving a child is impossible for you, think about other alternatives like fostering a child, adoption or volunteering might complete a part of your want for a child.

-Look after your relationship with your husband or wife. Women and men normally have diverse response to infertility and coping with being not able to conceive can damage even the toughest relationships. Understand the feelings of your partner, even though they are different from what you feel and enjoy each others company in spite the infertility problem.

-Look for constructive experiences. Try to be happy despite your problem. Begin with an appreciation diary for everything that is going on to your life, plan to travel or begin a new business.

If you follow these suggestions, being not able to get pregnant will only be a test that will make your relationship with your partner or spouse even stronger.
