How Many Months Will Your Cruise Last?

Deciding to take a vacation in a wonderful cruise vacation all over the world is just an awesome idea. Without a doubt this will be the best vacation of a lifetime.

You have taken a few of the 3 to 5 day sailing vacations in past years, but never one for 3 or 4 months. This would be a totally different experience.

Everyone I know loves to go on cruise vacation and the 3-4 month sailing vacation is completely different. You will notice quite a few differences before its over.

An around the world sailing vacation will be quite different than what you have experienced in the past. Hopefully it will be a much more leisurely and less pressure experienced than the 3 to 5 day cruises.

After you get back off this 3 to 4 month sailing vacation you will have a lot more knowledge as to whether at some point you might want to live on a ship year around for a while. At any rate this could be better and cheaper than living in one of those retirement communities.

Undoubtedly, you want to refrain from the famous and big cruise lines like Holland America and others. Maybe not but it does seem that some of the others would be much better for an extended stay aboard a ship. You need to read more about the different cruise ships that you are giving consideration so that you will enjoy your cruise ship sailing vacation.

However, like all vacations, you need to know what is required before purchasing your dream sailing vacation. When you are ready to purchase make sure you are going to use a ship that is not an exclusive cruising vessel. Is best if you would be able to take a vacation on a ship that mixes the two.

This way you will not get burnt out from the party all the time. It would be better when you plan of traveling by mixing both. Usually the hardest part is deciding upon the vessel you would like to sail away on. Try to be sure you have a little of both parts and not all of one or all of the other.

Shop around and consult different sailing line travel agents. Be prepared to tell the cruise agent exactly what you are looking for. You could visit 5 different agencies and receive 5 different quotes for the same cruise.

If you are planning to take a sailing vacation alone and don't want to share your cabin, you can anticipate an extra charge (depends on the shipping line). One thing most important, and you must not forget, have fun.
