Well, my wife Shelley and I got back from New York last week on the 1st World Ventures Luxury Dreamtrip and all I can say is WOW! What an Amazing Vacation. I've never been to New York City before but Shelley has been so I wasn't so worried, I knew she would take good care of me. When you go on a Dreamtrip there is way more included than just hotel and air, plus you save a TON of money because we use the bulk buying concept. We figured it out and we saved around $1500 on the Vacation.
When we landed Thursday they had a Limo waiting at our bag claim. What a great place we were brought to, The Mansfield Hotel, #1 Rated Boutiqe Hotel in New York. Our room was even ready for an early check in. That night they arranged for anyone who wanted to go the Herb Alpert concert so we said why not. It was at the Nokia Theater in Time Square. He can really play! We were pretty tired from the exciting day after the show but made time to a great Thai Restaurant before heading in. Friday we were picked up by Limo to go to an exclusive showing at the Peter Max exhibit. That guy has some amazing work and what an honor to be able to go there. From there we were picked up to go to The Lion King, another spectacular part of the planning. The Limo brought us back to The Mansfield were we went to Wayne Nugent and his fianc Suzann's penthouse sweet to have a nightcap. The time really flew by, at 2a.m. Shelley and I headed out on the town, grabbed a biker, got into his basket and he brought us to a great Irish Pub for more fun. From there what else in New York but Pizza and then off to bed.
We got up Saturday and went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you tried to go through the whole place it would take you about a month, We hung out there for a couple of hours and then went into the meat packing district for some lunch, I wish I remembered the name of the place, It Was Really Good! We bummed around New York and then our group had a reservation at another unbelievable restaurant. Check out my Blog site to watch a great speech by from the founders of World Ventures at our dinner. Super good people! From there we went to BB Kings Club, Super Cool Joint. When shelley and I were out on Friday night we met Mecha, a server at 2nd and 2nd Karaoke bar so we went and sang. I'm gonna leave those Video's off the Blog! Who knows they might be on You Tube somewhere. Closed that place at 4am, Prepared for a hangover with what else in New York but a Hot Dog from a street vender, good stuff!
Slept in on Sunday, we were grateful for a late checkout We got our stuff packed up and then went shopping, Were Limo'd back to the airport and headed home. What an Amazing Vacatation If they have another Luxury Dreamtrip to New York City I'll be there!
