Hollywood And The American People

One of the favorite American past times is that of going to the movies. Americans love the movies and everything that goes with that. That is one of the main things that Americans do when they go on dates. It is particularly large one the weekends.

Some movie goers are the casual guy who only goes every so often and who is not one of the main stream when it comes to going to the movies. Other people are frequent customers at the movie theaters and they follow the actors and actresses more than the normal people. They usually are very critical and have a lot to say about each new movie that comes out.

The people who are like that also tend to be the people who are diverse in the types of films that they see. They will watch not only the American made movies with stars that they are familiar with, but they also will watch movies made in other countries and they will have something to say about those as well.

The industry of movie making has grown substantially and the actors and actresses are getting paid a significant amount of money to act. The movie industry as a whole also makes a lot of money. They are also spending a lot of money as they make the movies. The action scenes are getting bigger and bigger and costing a lot more money to make. Hollywood is not shy about spending money to make the top of the line action shots.

For a long time America has been in love with the movies. It has become a part of the culture that the world has become accustom to and they like the movies produced here as well. The movie actors and actresses that do American movies are just as popular in foreign countries as they are here.

One aspect of the movie industry that used to be very popular, but which has died is that of the drive in. It used to be a very popular summertime activity to watch a movie from the car with a larger than life screen. They would show two movies and they would not start until it got dark, around 9:30-10:00. That would make for a late night but people still loved to go to the drive in. Now, most of them have closed and left behind empty and desolate places of the yesteryear and the things that used to be.
