What People Are Willing To Pay For

Hard-working virtual assistants can earn as much or even so much more than their corporate counterparts. This is because many business executives are willing to spend on payment for virtual assistants to do tasks they are unwilling or unable to do but are necessary in the business.

Take blogging for example. There are millions of people who blog for fun online. Some of them blog professionally and have made a living out of their personal blogs. You would think blogging is an easy task that does not need to be outsourced anymore, but believe it or not, there are plenty of companies that hire virtual assistants just for this purpose. With a virtual assistant who can write blogs and articles regularly, a company can maintain an updated blog and gain clients from it. A blog is a fantastic communication tool. Companies can use a blog for marketing. Although blogging is not the most difficult task to do, some people just do not have time for blogging. Busy business executives often do not have 30 minutes to an hour to put their thoughts down and compose a blog. Blogging is a task that many virtual assistants perform for clients.

Data entry is another easy task that virtual assistants are hired to do. While this task is easy, it can be time-consuming especially if there is a lot of information that the VA needs to work on. Time-consuming tasks are outsourced to other workers because they can take away time from other more important tasks in the workplace. Instead of having the CEO or manager of the company do data entry tasks, a virtual assistant is hired to take care of the tasks so that the CEO or manager can have time to deal with more important matters.

Tweeting or management of social networks is another task that companies or individuals can choose to outsource. Tweeting and social media can take a lot of time. You need to be an active participant in social networks to make online or social marketing to work. Because using twitter and other social networks can be very time-consuming, some people choose to assign social media tasks to virtual assistants.

Some people can even outsource to virtual assistants tasks such as schedule management, responding to email inquiries or other tasks that they cannot find time for. Some tasks that are difficult to do or require a high level of skill such as programming or web design can also be outsourced.
