Hot Summer Looks To Have In Your Wardrobe

Sweaters to majority of people are a summer thing; contrary to this belief, many types of sweaters from crewneck, sweater vests to v-necks can all be found in light and more luxurious gauges. Such light varieties are perfect for calm summer evenings. The good news is that chic, transitional sweaters can be found at very good prices. And given the additional benefit of these sweaters blending with almost everything from denims to a formal suit and almost everything in between, this makes it a versatile piece of clothing you'll ever own. Hugo men's striped sweater is a good example.

Lighten Up with pants

Please note that I'm not talking about actual pajamas nor advocating for the use of actual pajamas, the trend is about creating a laid back look similar to that of a casual sleepwear. The perfect example here is the drawstring pants, thermal tops, Henley shirts, tapered trousers such as distressed cotton, silk or light wool. These fabrics allow you to stay cool even when the weather heats up.

Colors and patterns are very important too. Understated stripes, light colors and a little detail here and there is the way to go. Cotton suit blends well with faded Henley.

Thermals are versatile and will match with almost anything in your wardrobe; they're warm and give you the added benefit of cool night with great layer. Drawstrings have the look of understated sophistication and they're very good when temperatures rise. They're best worn with a nice tee and leather sandals.

Relaxed Traditional-Wash denims

Jeans have gotten darker, tighter and stiffer in the last couple of years. As a matter of fact they lacked character in the years gone and luckily now we're free to wash our denims and let the dark color fade away leaving behind the pretentious texture.

Refrain from buying pre-fabricated, pre-torn, pre-washed jeans off the rack. Instead purchase a pair of jeans that you love, complements your style, is a great fit and work them yourself. Use them often so that they stretch and heels drag a lil bit, this creates a delicate fray on the seam. When it's time to launder, give em a good scrub in the tub under running water, add some vinegar and detergent to prevent fading. Wrap them in rubber bands and let them dry for a wrinkled effect.

Add Some Color

A single peek in your closet and the one thing I'm sure to find is a pair of white lace-ups, every man has them, and there is no doubt that they offer the perfect way to color. If you want some challenge then look for a pair of colored leather slip-ons. I promise that you'll be surprised at what a perfect match they're with gray or dark jeans! Throw on a blazer and a tee and remember to incorporate matching colors somewhere in the outfit, then the shoes becomes the unifying factor.

Unconditional Stripe Placket Tee

Cropped tees have made their way into the men's fashion world. Some designers have decided to remove the sleeves at the elbow and others just rolled it up, a fashion trick that enhances the look without polarizing the garment.
