Tourists Were Forced to Buy Cigarettes

A tourist from Nanking went happily to take a very low-priced five-day travel to Hong Kong and Macau on a discount of his VIP card. However, he did not expect that he would be forced to buy a kind of healthcare cigarette by the female tourist guide when he was in Zhuhai. Any how, he rejected to buy it and the tourist conductor threatened him of leaving them in remote places and swearing violently.

On the way to the jewelry shop, selling D&G handbags, watches and belts, the conductor Miss Wu introduced a type of cigarettes that contained vegetable caterpillar, saying that it could help to refresh one's mind and that it was not available in other places. She would sell it on a discount to the tourist and gave one to them if they bought one. The tourists replied politely that they did not need it in that they had bought some in tax-free stores. To their surprise, the genial conductor changed her attitude immediately, and said angrily, "Despite that, I had to sell the cigarettes today". Hearing her words, tourists' unwillingness to but the cigarettes increased even more. Consequently, the atmosphere was still and awkward. At last, a woman tourist carrying a baby made an attempt to relieve the atmosphere by buying one. Then they arrived at the jewelry shop. They felt disappointed that the jewelry shop was actually damaged, which did not seem like selling jewelry. On the other hand, it was obvious that the jewelry was knockoff. They did not buy anything and went on the bus. Again, the conductor forced and threatened them, claiming that if they did not buy jewelry, they must buy cigarettes and that was her task given by the travel agency.

From this experience, we should learn not to take advantage of discount at anytime. Once you are forced to buy things, you have the right to reject and protect you own benefits.
