Your child mostly has thick head of hairs this requires proper washing in order to remove the dirt. Unfortunately there are only few children who like this process. You can made life easier for both of you by keeping the hair of your child short. Use tear free shampoo and it provides a shield that helps to keep the suds and water away from the eyes. Brush the teeth of your child always in the morning and in the night before they go to sleep so that the food pieces are not present in the mouth. While brushing use a soft-bristled, small brush and toothpaste consists of fluoride. At the younger stage you begin to teach about good hygiene. One of the best methods to teach for example wash your hands along with your child. If your child feels that the washcloth are rough then allow him to use a soft cloth.

Always keep your child's nails cut short both for fingers and toe; it is cleaner and helps to keep the child away from scratching by him or by others accidentally. Even long toenails make the shoes uncomfortable. It is easier to cut the nails after the bath since it becomes soft. Cut the nails of your child once a week. For cutting use scissors with blunt-ended which is particularly designed for a children to be safe or use nail clippers. Cut the toenails straight across.
