Amazing Children's Beds

So it's time to move your child out of the cot and into a bed. Have you thought about the kind of bed you might purchase? It will all depend on the space that is available in your place. If you have a boxroom, there are all kinds and sizes of children's beds made specifically for more confined or restricted spaces. If you need a bed that is short, or narrow or small, you can also buy a mattress that is suitable.

Children's beds can be as practical or as whimsical as you like. Captain's beds have another pull-out bed, with drawers, underneath: a very practical solution to the need for a spare bed for small overnight guests. Themed beds for boys and girls are the most amazing. From cars, tractors, fire engines, and helicopters to pirate ships, fairy princess castles and carriages, if you can think of it, you can probably find it!

Cabin beds are very practical. The bed is raised and underneath you can choose many combinations including desks and bookcases. Some of these are also themed. Loft beds are more suited to older children. They are higher and can also have underneath desks, chests of drawers, bookcases and sofa beds.

Bunk beds are always popular for when children have to share a room. Look for cantilever bunks where you can have a chest of drawers or small wardrobe underneath the top bed as well as the lower bed coming out at right angles. They make good use of limited space. How about a futon? It has a top bunk bed with a futon below that converts to a double bed for guests. A great space saving idea is the loft bed. The elevated bed allows space underneath for a desk, book shelf and a chest of drawers, or simply a play area. Some feature a futon which can be used for guest sleepovers.

Try looking online for great deals. If you live in the delivery area, you can get free next day delivery in some cases. Try getting that from the high street!
