As someone who was born and raised in San Diego, I can tell you, when visiting Southern California, a stop by Sea World in San Diego is a must. Especially in case you are touring with your children or a beloved one, you'll find there is very few places as delightful as a trip to the Sea World San Diego theme park.

Animal Attractions:

One can find tons of interactive sights that help you to interact with the many sea animals...dolphins, rays, whales and other fish and animals. As an example, one of my favorites is the Forbidden Reef area. Here you may touch. feed and pet Bat Rays. For someone who has by no means been up near such marvelous creatures, it is a really distinctive experience. Additionally you'll be able to go below the aquarium and watch moray eels in their mysterious underwater caverns.

Go by the dolphin interaction program, where you may learn all about the dolphins and have a great deal of fun with these kind and intelligent mammals.

No trip to Sea World in San Diego is complete without seeing Shamu the killer whale! Watch as he and his trainers perform surprising feats and tricks to astound you, your beloved, and children. You'll never see such marvel and enjoyment in your family members eyes as they see the performance. Who knew that these wild animals could be so clever! Remember though, in the event you sit very close, expect to get somewhat wet!

In the event you love aquariums, you'll not find a higher one than the world of the sea aquarium. The aquarium complex is in depth and immerse...almost as if you ever have been scuba diving amongst all the fish, anemones, star fish and other sea creatures.

Rides and enjoyment:

The Journey to Atlantis water ride is sort of a cross between a roller coaster and a boat. Beware the 60 foot plunge on the waterfalls, but you should have a ton of fun braving all of the twists and turns.

Within the middle of Sea World San Diego is the Skytower. The view of San Diego, Mission Bay and the encircling areas is extremely pretty as you journey virtually 300 feet into the air. You can get a real sense of the true great beauty of San Diego!

Don't forget Shipwreck Rapids either. This attraction contains a experience by way of river rapids, underground caverns and by dropping cargo nets round a tropical island as you journey along in your round inner tube raft that seats eight.

Locations to eat!

In case you are hungry for a snack. The candy Treats at Pineapple Pete's Island Eats is your place. They serve smoothies, iced cappuccinos, and numerous ice creams, its one scrumptious shop in Sea World San Diego.

Catch a fast eat among all the artifacts on the Shipwreck Reef Cafe or the Coconut Bay Cafe. Or if you happen to like, the Seaport Market has a deli with delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner fare.

For some actually nice eating, check out the Calypso Bay Smokehouse. Dad will not find a way to resist the smoked ribs, chicken, barbecue and more.

I've simply touched upon some of the sights, rides and eating at Sea World San Diego. There's much more to see and do, including beluga whales, sharks, and even more shows, so plan on making a full day of your visit.

Entrance will cost around 60 to 70 dollars per person, and more for parking, not to mention the other expenses associated with journey, however there are particular deals to be found.
