Every year people get their tree out of storage or go buy a new one whether it is real or fake. There are many different styles when it comes to Christmas trees as well as colors. There are white, silver, green and yes even black.
You can capture your tree year after year and make a page dedicated to only your tree for that year. Write why you decorated it that way. You can also have guests bring one ornament to decorate your tree and this will allow for a variety of ornaments. Capture a picture of each one and put it in your scrapbook.
Stars
You can use the traditional colors for a star that are blue and silver. These colors symbolize the star that the wise men followed onto Bethlehem.
Use a deep blue color for the background and then place small glitter that is silver to use for stars. Add silver cut out stars and pictures. You can also use cut out silver stars for the border. Silver and blue stars can jazz up any picture or frame with a few small touches and some glue and glitter.
You can add ribbon to a frame or even to use with tags for gifts.
Tropical Heat wave
For those who live where it never snows, you hear people talk about it all the time when they do get snow. In Florida years ago, Christmas decorations consisted of sea shells and beach scenery things.
Tropical themes are always unique to use especially for Christmas. This is a fun theme to use around Christmas and can be rather pretty. Glitter can be added to sea shells and palm tree stickers are great to use. Frames can be decorated with glitter and sea shells as well as palm trees.
Scrapbooking should be fun and easy to do. There shouldn't be much thinking or research involved. Make it a family activity. Scrapbooking can be used to make memories and can be treasured for years to come.
