How To Make Money Online - Common Questions - Part 7

How Long Does It Take To Set Everything Up

Truthfully, setting everything up doesn't take very long at all. If you dedicated a whole day to it, you could be up and running in a days time. You only really need three things and they are a product to sell, a domain name and a blog. Lets talk about each one in a little more detail.

A Product To Sell - In order to make money online you need something to sell. It can be either a product or a service. I prefer products because when you provide a service you can only get paid for as long as you are available to work. When you sell a product, you can make money 24 hours a day. LITERALLY! When you hear people say they make money in their sleep, its true. You really can wake up and see sales in your inbox. If you are a newbie, the quickest thing you can do is go to clickbank and find a product to promote.

Buying A Domain Name - Having your own domain name is important. You need an easy to remember web address that you can tell people about. If you use a long affiliate link you will make it very difficult for your potential customers to find you again. Luckily domain names are very affordable. You can get a .com domain name for about $10 a year. If thats too much for you, you can just go with a .info with is even cheaper than that.

Set Up A Blog - Setting up your blog is very easy. Once you have your domain name you will use that for your blog. You can either use wordpress or blogger. I prefer wordpress because you can do more with them. The first thing you will need to do is put content on your blog. After all you don't want to send your potential customers to an empty blog. The easiest way to add content is to either write about 5 articles yourself and post them on the blog, or to just go to an article directory and find a few articles you want to publish. This is perfectly legal as long as you keep all of the information in tact.
