Copenhagen Holidays

A summer vacation in Copenhagen is perfect for sopping up Scandinavian summer sun on extended afternoons, of wandering royal castles and museums. The humid nights are for providing variety to Scandinavian fare and cheerful jazz.

Fun and Fair at Tivoli

Toddler, teenager or any age group, a summertime walk through Tivoli Gardens is an indispensible experience on a Copenhagen summer break. Jump on an old wooden roller coaster, chew candy floss or popcorn and be entertained by the organ grinders, jugglers and jokers . Ancient style buildings, a toy rail and pantomime ballets based on Hans Christian Andersen fables make the day very pleasant. After the sunset musicians and dance troupes enact on stage as bystanders drink glasses of Carlsberg and watch the sun go down towards the horizon.
