This decision will bring him to an "explosive confrontation" with the CSI team according to the CSI home page. He gets carted off in handcuffs, which we see him practicing in this picture.
Justin Bieber looks more like he will break into song and start skipping than he does an "angry young man being led off into jail". This is going to take some work in the make-up and costume department of the CSI show.
The CSI executives have made a good business move by putting this kid in the show. Bieber fans won't care if he can't act, as long as they can see him on the TV screen. His fans are so into him that when Bieber announced he had a crush on a much older Kim Kardashian a few months ago, within hours Kardashian was receiving death threats from his fans.

As soon as that rumor let loose, no one would give it the time of day, why? Because this kid is just to good to picture doing something like this. The same goes for his acting - will he pull off the "bad boy" image needed for the CSI part?
Bieber would have been better suited for a role of a rich kid not getting his own way in the show because as soon as he smiles, his cuteness will overtake any "bad boy" image he is going for.
