The London Dungeon Before Going, Keep These Details

The London Dungeon is one of the popular tourist attractions in London. It is located in Tooley Street, in close proximity to London Bridge rail station in London. It showcases diverse tortures from the medieval period. The London Dungeon recreates a variety of gory along with macabre historical events within a gloomily comedic 'gallows humour' way, which attempts for making them quite appealing to the majority of the younger audiences. Also, it makes use of a mixture of special effects, rides, and live actors.

The London Dungeon was opened in the year 1976, at first it was designed more as of a normal museum that would showcase a "horrible history", on the other hand the London Dungeon has evolved to develop into an interactive experience that are actor-led. The London Dungeon is looked after by Merlin Entertainments that also manages the Madame Tussauds, Legoland, London Eye, Thorpe Park, Heide Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, Warwick Castle, Sea Life, and Gardaland.

The Hamburg Dungeon, The York Dungeon and The Edinburgh Dungeon are entirely associated with The London Dungeon. Also, in the year 2005, an additional new location was opened in Amsterdam, which was known as The Amsterdam Dungeon. A Dungeon is to be built within the amusement park in Italy, which is quite renowned as Gardaland.

In spring 2009, the Castle Dungeon was opened in Warwick Castle. The cost of the creation of the Castle Dungeon was approximately 800,000 and it had replaced the earlier Dream of Battle Attraction. The Castle Dungeon expansively uses live actors along with special effects, and features a few of the darkest chapters in the history of the castle, which includes the various scenes of terrors, which took place within the torture chamber for fouling the deadly disease of the plague.
