subject: Always Wanted Whiter Teeth? [print this page]

If you decide that it would be in your best interests to undergo a tooth whitening procedure, you will not only find a great improvement upon the aesthetics of your smile, you will also find yourself becoming more confident because of the way your new smile looks. When you don't feel good about your smile, you may feel that you cannot even talk to people because ultimately that's what they see when you talk, and you do not want that fear especially in social situations. After you have finished your teeth whitening procedure and the results are visible you will be able to gain that confidence back and show yourself off in ways that you previously thought impossible.

The biggest benefit to whitening your teeth is that you will most certainly feel great within your smile and be able to confidently speak and smile around other people. You will gain your confidence back, and will not have to worry about forcing yourself to keep your mouth closed when you smile. Instead you will be able to smile confidently with a set of dazzling teeth likened to a Hollywood celebrity. You will also be more attractive to everyone, because at the end of the day everyone loves a beautiful white smile.

There are 2 forms of teeth whitening that you can undergo in order to gain a perfectly white smile. The options are in chair whitening and take home whitening. Both of these treatments strive to give the best results possible in terms or fixing a discoloured smile. In chair whitening consists of moulds being placed onto your teeth and filled with a whitening solution. The moulds will be made to perfectly fit your teeth and whiten all of them as effectively as the last. A light or laser will then be placed onto the solution to help it to whiten the teeth. Your teeth can be whitened up to 10 shades whiter.

At home whitening consists of moulds being made of your teeth which you will wear at night when you go to sleep. You will place a gel like substance into these moulds and it will gradually whiten your teeth. This process will take longer than the in chair whitening but you will have the added convenience of being able to do it in the comfort of your own home.
