Impersonating a Troll for Halloween!

Dressing like a Troll is great. You are instantly recognizable by almost everyone, but are probably the only Troll around. It's a great Halloween, costume party, and other festive event attire. Adults know trolls as fearsome mythical creatures, kids know them from kids stories, and most people are familiar with Troll dolls and the Trollz cartoon show.

You can dress like a fearsome troll very easily. Costumes can be handmade if you have the time and skill, and directions are available on the Internet, or some great ones are available at costume shops as well as online. Maybe just a troll mask will be enough too.

Or you can dress like a gentler, kinder troll. There are plenty of troll wigs available cheaply that make you look like one of the dolls, and if you add a robe and accessories you are all set. Kids love the kinder gentler variety in particular.

One of the issues with dressing up is having a somewhat unique costume. No one wants to be one of 5 Batmen or 7 Princesses or 6 Pirates. Then again you don't want to dress like something no one recognizes either and have to keep explaining what or who you are dressed like. Everyone knows what a Troll is, but few people think to dress as one, making troll dress a great opportunity to be instantly recognizable yet unique. And besides, as a troll you can pretend to have bad manners and chase anyone dressed as a goat or other livestock and claim you are going to eat them, jokingly of course!
