Holidays may appear and vanish however, many holidays, like Christmas, should never change. Most folks have a very favorite holiday as well as for many it can be Christmas. The festivities, shopping, and decorating obtain the best of most of us but Christmas just wouldn't be a similar without Santa Claus stopping by for a quick stop by at share the real meaning of Christmas, giving.

Although Christmas can be a busy time of year, we must remember to return to basics. Santa's kind and giving spirit touches everyone and he is able to restore the never-ending nostalgia of childhood for adults too. As adults, we try to help keep Santa Claus alive for the children to help keep the innocence with their youth provided that possible. The smiles we have seen on our children's faces once they sit on Santa's knee and the anticipation of Christmas day allow us to somehow live vicariously over the eyes in our children. We might be adults but we're still slightly kid at heart.

Our youngsters are growing extremely fast and smarter from the minute. It appears that their innocence is lost much sooner these days. But i am not saying they won't need to be entertained and sheltered in Santa's safe place for some time longer. Eventually your youngster will ask if Santa Claus really exists. Similar to parents we will try to maintain Santa's spirit alive so long as we could. Inside our efforts to keep the joyous mystery of Santa Claus alive, we quite often recreate jolly old Saint Nick in your own home by dressing as Santa Claus. Or you may also do the annual mall visit with Santa. This year you may want more than just a Santa Claus suit or trip to a nearby mall to impress your sons or daughters. Being a parent we realize that Santa Claus is really a representation of the real meaning of Christmas, the spirit of giving. Christmas is ultimately about to be able to give from the heart and not simply giving material things. Santa Claus history reveals the storyline of Saint Nicholas, a religious bishop, who was simply well known for his generosity towards children and poor. It's believed that Saint Nicholas entered homes by having a window and left gifts for that children while they slept. Through the Christmas season, we continue this self-less tradition of giving that Saint Nicholas began.
