Contents of a pay slip format

The format of the pay slip will have to be designed in such a manner that the gross salary can be calculated easily and then all the required deductions can be made in order to arrive at the final amount which will be known as the net salary or the net pay. The name of the company and the specific time period for which the pay slip is being prepared are two other essential details which should definitely be mentioned in any pay slip. The name of the employee and the special employee identification number, the department where the employee works and the bank account number of the employee will also have to be stated in the pay slip.
