A history of hotels in London

Railway hotels sprung up around the main train stations of London with some of the more famous locations being St. Pancras, the Great Western at Paddington station, the Great Northern at King's Cross, the Great Eastern at Liverpool Street and the Grosvenor at Victoria. If you're commuting to offices in the Marylebone area there was once the Great Central Hotel which is now The Landmark.
