There are lessons in rowing and sculling, in fact in almost any water sport you can think of. There are also great places for cycling, including trails where you can go mountain biking. You can hire your bike through the Seattle luxury hotels or there are many outlets in the Puget Sound area of Seattle .Close by, you can go skiing at the Snoqualmie Pass, which is only about an hour's drive away. Two hours away is Steven's Pass, and one of the top rated ski resorts in the states, Whistlers, is only four hours drive away.
There is lots to see in Seattle. The tallest landmark is the Space Needle, at 605 feet high it can be seen from many of the Seattle luxury hotels around. Seattle's centre was mainly destroyed by fire in 1889, and rebuilt on the top, but you can visit the underground city as it was before being destroyed. There are also lots of museums and art galleries. One not to be missed is the Experience Music Project, dedicated to rock and roll and of course it has a special section dedicated to Seattle's famous son, Jimi Hendrix.
