Remembering a Pet

You had a pet you loved very much recently pass away. For some pet owners, losing their pet can almost be as traumatic as losing a family member. Wouldn't it be great it you had something in you home that would provide you with a constant reminder of the pet you cherished so much?

In today's world people put so much more into their pets during their lives than they did years ago in terms of foods, clothing, health, and general comforts. So why not remember your pet after they have passed on, with something that will provide you with comfort, and be a constant reminder of you pet.

I am going to tell you how you can easily remember your pet and provide yourself with a comfortable feeling for the rest of your life.

There is a young lady in Minneapolis who had a dog (Maggie) for 14 years until it passed away. This animal brought great joy to both her and her husband, and with all animal lovers became an integral part of their family life.

When the Maggie passed, the young lady was devastated, but she became bound and determine to do something that would keep Maggie in her life for ever. She put a lot of thought into finding the best way to remember their pet.

She finally came up with an idea of a memorial candle. She purchased the materials, poured the candle, and she made a small dog collar with an inscription that fit around the candle. She put it on the mantel of her home, and she felt it was a perfect remembrance for Maggie.

Over the ensuing months, friends and neighbors who came to their house all asked about the candle, she told them it was something that would allow them to always remember their pet even though they had a new dog.

Word began to spread and people who lost their pet contacted her to make a candle for them. It did not make any difference what kind of pet it was, the candle was still appropriate.

So for those of you who have pets, I think this is something you will want to keep in mind, and for those who have lost their pets, and want to have a way of remembering it, this would be a wonderful and inexpensive way to do it.

It would also make a great gift for a friend that has lost a pet.
