In Hong Kong he meets Francis, who is terminally-ill. Powell is arrested outside the bar neither one knowing the other persons deathly secret. The eventually learn each others secret and agree to meet again at the same bar at the same time on New Years Eve. On that day a bartender is alone at the bar, did they die?
